Evey’s Autumn Style Tips 2018

As we approach Autumn, what comes to my mind are soft knits, beanie hats, cosy coats, and boots. I love to see different fabrics and textures playfully teamed alongside soft silhouettes, mixing feminine and masculine in an unpredictable yet relatable style. Leggings remain on offer, and this season as a hybrid to slim-fit cigarette pants.
Leopard Print remains in the mix ( luckily for me after recent said purchase of trouser suit ) why not take a prowl on the wild side of fashion by means of shirts, dresses or even accessories to your outfit.

Colour Blocking is a key look, in primary colours or tonal , even neon gets a nod too. Talking of colours, the Browns are back, not Mrs Brown, but shades of Caramels, Toffees, Tan or Tobacco, a beautiful neutral to tone into your outfit .Tweeds and Plaids make a royal arrival. Your statement piece could be by means of a Tweed Blazer, classical yet completely on trend. I would team mine over a long simple slip dress making the Blazer the show stopper and completed with my beloved trainers or interjecting another trend of Patent by means of a Patent Ankle Boot. Should you wish to channel a Balmoral Look, consider a silk headscarf to team with your Tweeds. Talking about boots, rock your inner Cowboy Vibe with a Prairie Offer from cowboy ankle boots to knee length boots , teamed with a maxi denim skirt a la Family Ingles ( I wanted to be Laura For me, the Winter Coat is a must and ever since my first ‘ grown up ‘Coat from Max Mara many moons ago, I eagerly await each year to see the new Winter Coat trends .Parkas, Puffas, Blankets, Capes, all are out there and awaiting your choice to layer up and keep cosy. Faux Furs are tempting in palettes of Bubblegum Pink. Dresses, you know I love a Dress, and this Season the choices are so tempting, still in keeping from the summer trend of Florals, yet crossing over into the dark side for dramatic twist offering decadence of Roses or Poppies against a backdrop of black, whimsical to wear under a longline Winter Woollen Coat.
